The Grove City Homecoming Celebration returns to the Grove City Town Center. All are welcome to the festivities, especially alumni of Grove City and Central Crossing high schools, with an evening of live entertainment and activities headlined by the Stone Pony Band, a tribute to Bruce Springsteen and Southside Johnny.

Grove City Parks and Recreation is hosting this program in which boys and girls measure their ability to punt, pass and place kick a football against others their age and gender from 9 a.m. to noon, at Jackson Middle School. Winners may qualify to participate in a sectional competition. The four age divisions are 8/9, 10/11, 12/13 and 14/15 with boys and girls competing separately. Rain date is Sunday, Aug. 10.
